Lee Esther's Creole Cajun Cooking

I had a fantastic experience at one of my favorite restaurants in Palmdale. I highly recommend trying out Lee Esther's! I visited during a lunch break with some colleagues and was delighted with my shrimp po' boy, which had the perfect portion size and came with a side of fries. The étouffée looked mouthwatering, and it received rave reviews from my coworkers (both for the crustaceans and the shrimp). The iced tea is served in huge mason jars, which is a nice touch. Our server, Michael, was exceptional and made the entire experience even better!

It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we found it to be cozy, clean, and inviting. For dinner, we ordered the Jambalaya and the Etouffee, along with the pork and rice balls as appetizers. The food was delicious—spice level 3 offered a nice kick but was still very tasty. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We definitely plan to return!

Mom Pop Shop is a lovely family-run restaurant that offers delicious cuisine. I tried the drunk noodles, which are the Thursday special, and the portion size was generous. The tea had a perfect flavor as well. Although it's a small establishment, the taste is exceptional, and it shows great potential. The atmosphere has a Louisiana vibe, featuring a warm family dynamic of mother, father, and son. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a satisfying meal!

Family owned and solid people to sit and eat, food was superior, sweet tea was on point, and great environment. I travel 300 days a year for work and places like this is only a few and far between. Just go, read reviews, you will not regret it!
