Authentic, friendly, great value, excellent food. You might drive right by...I did many times. What this place may lack in ambiance, it recovers in heart and good cooking. I ordered the grouper piccatta because it sounded unique . It was excellent... The pre-meal bread was excellent- hot out of the oven served with a tasty evoo dipping side. The portions were satisfying. Our service was excellent...the staff is tenured and really seemed to care about us as customers. Most of the pasta is not homemade but was good and didn 't take away from my meal. I believe the pizza crust is homemade, and there was a swinging door of activity for take-out ...(a side note , we ordered a pizza from here 2 nights ago- this was after my grouper meal was behind us- It was incredible ! One ...if not thee best pizza since I have moved here. I now understand the steady procession of in the know satified return customers...mostly locals...Give them a try...you may be pleasantly surprised like I was :

I had just dinner in the villa italia cafe. it is my new favorite Italian place! the chicken piccata and the chicken marsala are excellent. we look forward to more about the menu.

What a fantastic meal. we were pleasantly surprised with our culinary experience. when we arrived at this place, we were skeptical. we went in and not many customers were here. it was also a very casual environment. the menu touched us so we decided to try it. Let's start saying that the woman waiting for us was a Jewel. she was the only one waiting for the tables and she was fast, efficient, friendly and accommodating. She was great. we ordered the chicken caciator dinner and the veal food. both were absolutely delicious! the portions were huge and the food was served hot and tasty. the next day the left overs were even better. only beer and wein. many inside seats are available. price reasonable.
