Lulu's Town Country Village - Palo Alto

The food is decent, but today’s service was quite disappointing. The larger gentleman in charge was rather rude and seemed frustrated. Perhaps he would be better suited for a behind-the-scenes role in the kitchen, rather than in customer service. On the positive side, the other staff members, particularly the women, were friendly and professional.

Everything is made fresh daily! While any leftovers do go to waste, you can count on the food being as fresh as possible. I'm a huge fan of the chiles rellenos, but our family also loves their crispy tacos. Just a heads up—there are only a few outdoor tables available. It's perfect for takeout or delivery. The only downside for me is that the lemonade is a bit too sweet. Other than that, it’s fantastic!

Now, about the food: I ordered a carnitas burrito, and it was greasy and tasteless. Really disappointing! The small nachos with carnitas? Honestly, they looked unappetizing. I couldn’t help but think they resembled something unpleasant. I will absolutely NOT be returning. What a total waste of money! As for the food quality, it’s seriously subpar Mexican cuisine and outrageously overpriced for what it offers. I tried the mini-super burrito twice, hoping my first experience was a mistake, but both times it was awful! The salsas were excessively spicy and tasted stale. I can’t handle spicy food, and this was just too much. So, take my advice: steer clear of this place unless you enjoy being treated poorly and paying for mediocre food!

Big portion size and nice staff but the meat quality wasn’t great

Usually eat at Lulu’s on the Alameda but had an errand at Town and Country and stopped by to have a Jalapeño and Cheese Burrito with Cilantro rice and Black beans and hot sauce.
