When I confronted him about it, he claimed he had just called the delivery driver to cancel the order, but that didn't seem possible since I was still on the line. I then asked him if I could have both a refund and my salad. He refused, so I requested the name and number of the general manager or regional manager. He told me the manager would be in the next day at 4 PM. I also asked for an email confirmation regarding my refund, but he hung up before I could finish. I then heard people laughing in the background, including someone making a derogatory comment. I tried calling back, but they wouldn't answer.
I ordered a Howie's Special and a cookie. I picked them up at the drive-thru window and had no problems. The pizza tasted great, especially with the garlic crust. The cookie was fantastic!
It’s been years since I enjoyed a Hungry Howie’s pizza, and since I was in the area and they have a higher Yelp rating than their delivery rivals, I decided to give it a try. Placing an order online was a breeze, and tracking it via email was easy as well—my pizza arrived even earlier than expected! It was hot, accurate, and cooked to my preference; some might say it was a bit burnt, but I actually liked it that way. The pizza was delicious, and the delivery driver was friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from here again.
We are very impressed with the service at this location. We order with them often and everyone has been great. Easy ordering, fast delivery and friendly deliverers. Pizza is always hot and ready to eat.
The wait time on the phone was so long and by the time they took my order I couldn't understand what the other person on the phone was saying so he referred me to a manager who was incredibly incompetent and unprofessional in his demeanor. I requested a large pepperoni sausage and bacon pizza with stuffed crust. Easy to remember right? Wrong. The bumbling buffoon who took my order forgot to put stuffed crust on my order. I called them back and was put on hold for at least 10-15 minutes, until someone picked up who I ALSO couldn't understand. I requested a manager and was put on hold a 3rd time! I drove to the actual restaurant to explain my dilemma and since my order was not taken properly there was nothing that could be done. In hindsight they actually didn't charge for stuffed crust that I didn't receive, but the pizza was already 30 dollars! Which i guess gets a pass considering beachside pizza is already pretty expensive. The restaurant itself is not at fault and I actually quite enjoyed my pizza and the customer service in person was leagues ahead of the absolute joke of their answering machine. In conclusion, the pizzas great unless you hate getting your order wrong and waiting on the line for about 5-10 minutes
