Kwan Yen Chinese Restaurant

Food was sumptuous. Staff friendly. Clean and well presented. Reasonably priced. We had a lovely evening there for my sons birthday. Children welcome. What more can I say. Once again the food was lovely and delivered in a timely fashion. Well done

We were dining with friends and they suggested that their neighbourhood Chinese restaurant was a good place to eat.We selected one of the banquets and it included a typical selection in the budget range with Spring Rolls, Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup, Sweet and Sour Pork, sizzling Steak in Black Bean Sauce, Lemon Chicken and Special Fried Rice. The special coconut water was highly recommended but they had already run out of their supplies and only one of us was able to try this lovely looking concoction. It came in a big glass with chunks of coconut and was quite tasty apparently. I will have to try it next time.If you are looking for tasty food and good family-friendly service, this is a place you should try.

The honey chicken with cashews and a coconut water to begin with a satay and some prawn crackers a great meal for one or for two but I love this place. Owners are fabulous and welcoming and always see people there for takeways most days.. Fabulous place. great job

They Stuffed up our order, One meal was missing the crispy noodles. I Called the Restaurant and they said they would replace the meal IF we returned the original meal.. Not sure why?? No offer of anything for the mistake they made. Got our replacement meal and a little bit later the lady from kwan yen called me to question why we ate a prawn out of it... She was arguing with me about a prawn! How petty! She was so rude and has no clue about customer service. To go out of your way to call a customer and argue there must be something wrong with you. we buy take away just about weekly from kwan yen but never again after our experience.

We went for tea of a friday night and there was 14 of us. The food was really tasty and the menu was really good. The owner came out several times, for a chat and was extremely friendly. We had a really good night
