John's Fried Chicken - Paramus

Fresh Dominican Food. Plenty to choose from. Served from buffet style set up. Friendly. Reasonably priced. Plenty of parking.

I love this place, great service. I got oxtails and peas rice and was the best! Very good. The empanadas were not as good.

I ordered brown rice with oxtail and some yellow plantains. The rice was ok plantains tasted like they were there for a while and the oxtail just had way to much fat. I wished they would clean up some of that fat before they sell it to the public. And the worst part is I paid $18 for this plate and a can soda. Way over priced.

Horrible place to eat. The staff is composed of a bunch of lazy women that don?t seem to ever want to attend to customers waiting in line. They are more concerned in gossiping amongst themselves rather than servicing people. The food is often hit or miss? very salty or not seasoned well. I asked for service and was welcomed with an attitude. Definitely won?t recommend or visit this spot anymore. If you want Dominican cuisine in the Paramus/Bergen county area, I suggest

It's a hit or a miss depending on what you order. Some of the food is too spicy like what is pictured below.. and sometime it has no flavor (the salmon). Overall good customer service however It can be pricey atleast 15 dollars a plate. One time I order the seafood rice and it was $20 just for the rice alone... Wished they had smaller containers so you have the option to buy a large or smaller meal.
