Beach Buns Burgers - Paraparaumu

Went to the Toasted Monkey to see my friend play music. Got there around 6:15 and all the outside downstairs tables were filled so we sat along the rail next to the bar. Great viewing seats! People were ultra friendly staff was too. We needed up just having a few beers and a plate of chicken nachos (sorry no pics). Nachos were a B+ a little messy with the cheese sauce but we ate them all! Great party vibe here. Loved it!

Amazingly fun vibe at this place. Upstairs has great views of Blind Pass and open Gulf views, while downstairs offers TVs for the sports enthusiasts, a full bar, and music for everyone.

The season is already in full swing and this place was rocking. We were coming here to see a local band and when they canceled we stayed for dinner. I'm on the beach so why not have the usual...Grouper Sandwich. It was blackened, good size and great flavor. I picked the side of black beans rice and there was plenty and had great flavor. The band was amazing and the outside bar was packed. Great place to hang out on a warm Florida night. It's pretty much a beach bar so don't wear your good clothes

Came by as the last stop on our beach crawl, from Undertow all the way to the Monkey. This is a mostly covered but open air bar/restaurant/concert venue. We've been here a couple of times before and always had a great time. There is a main area downstairs where the bands play with several tables, as well as an interior area (we've never gone in....its FL...who wants to eat/drink/hangout INSIDE? Not us. #pass. There is also an upstairs rooftop bar, which is cozy but has great views. Bartenders do a nice job keeping up with the crowds so the wait for drinks isn't long at all. Foods are tasty here as well. Def stop by if in the area!

We loved being so close to the water and being able to eat outside. Service was a little slow but that's to be expected during spring break. Highly recommend the Caribbean Mama drink, the smash burgers, and any of their grouper! Being from Michigan we loved any time we can eat outside and watch the sunset!
