A huge disappointment. an accumulation of maladdresses rendered unforgivable by the irrespective attitude and the insulting words of the manager! A ghost menu we have been asked several times to change our order, on a map that is not made up of 3 dishes we have a bit of difficulty to understand, especially since the table had been reserved. We accept suggestions because after a “accident” of supply it can happen and the establishment enjoys a good reputation. a service exceeded the ham plate to be shared has been forgotten. the dishes that were to be served in 40 minutes were still missing 1h30 after the order. globally the servers show little availability, avoid us, let go of lacuary answers like “it will happen” without ever speaking a word of sympathy or excuse. an endless wait 1h30 after our arrival, our dishes are always waiting despite our polished revivals. it is 22h and still no visibility is given to us. a cereal and irrespective manager we decide to settle the consumption served and release the table, quietly explaining the situation to the manager. No excuse on his part, on the contrary, he insulted us. According to him he doesn't care because he's full midday and evening, we don't know what it's like a restaurant. complete refusal of the discussion, he yells at us to clear (I quote!! with the gesture that accompanies, then claps fingers a waitress to bring him back the payment terminal. a perfectly odious and meticulous attitude to a person who presents himself as a restaurateur. but where did the service and respect for the client (and its employees?!
VANTRE is a word game about the fact that this place is the 'old of wine'. Indeed, the wine map is almost close to an encyclopaedia. But personally I went more for the kitchen side. The menu changes every day, and is cooked home with fresh and quality products. I devoured my pasta with the stew of beef and mushrooms of Paris, and the chocolate cake I took in loose, accompanied by a sorbet with apricot, was simply divine! A real gastronomic slam at a very reasonable price on noon. I can only advise. menu dish dessert: 17€
We had a great vantage dinner! The kitchen is fine, original and tasty. We discovered a lot of land/sea associations (tartare of veal and oyster, duck and hulls) it was delicious! the staff was extremely practical: we do not understand that there was a unique 5-way menu between Christmas and the day of the year. they agreed to offer us a 3-course alternative, and were very flexible so that we could choose some dishes. I highly recommend!
