Takoda Tavern - Parker

We have come here several times this year. My sister has been visiting my mom nearby in Hospice. It was hard to find a restaurant, because she usually has her doggie with her. But the patio was great! It has an amazing view of the mountains and allows (well behaved) dogs. Now, I am not a big 'bar food ' fan. I have several food sensitivities and allergies and this type of food is normally deep fried, battered, etc. So, I wouldn 't say I found the healthiest of spinach salads like I prefer, but I was able to eat a few things I liked, such as the Angus Beef without the bun or fries and Buffalo Wings (which they said had no flour or wheat on them, but please ask for yourself). My sister really liked the Crab Cake Salad and Buffalo Wings. My brother in law has enjoyed several options and he is tough to please. Unfortunately, they have a smoking area that is too close to the patio and it gets lots of use. I don 't have anything against smokers! But it is hard to eat when it gives me a headache and makes me very nauseous. A non-smoking area should be smoke free. I gave them five stars, because this is great gathering place with good food, LIVE music and a patio with incredible views!

Decided to go somewhere with outdoor dining. We split an order of beef fajitas. Had a couple of beers. Bill was about $25. Very reasonable and the fajitas were good. Sat on the upstairs deck. One of the best mountain views, anywhere. Would highly recommend.

The Staff was friendly professional. The food was yummy! The music of the day, the band 'Bad Candy ' was amazing! first time hearing them, we 'll look for them again).We came up from Co Springs and will be back.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The owner, Bob, paid a heartfelt tribute to my recently deceased veteran husband, and I am truly grateful for that. The food was delicious as well—be sure to try the fried sweet potato and beans basket; it’s a must!

Their beverage selection is equally impressive, with a wide range of choices to suit anyone’s taste. Our waitress Chailyn provided delightful service; she was very engaging and offered great recommendations based on what we might enjoy. Thanks to her, our glasses were never empty, and our food was served at just the right temperature. Bob and Nancy Nobles have truly created and manage a wonderful spot to eat, drink, and unwind at Takoda Tavern.
