Das Rookhaus - Parkersburg

You have the best smoked cheese and meat! I always get an excellent sub from Das Rookhas, and I enjoy having a great conversation with the cook. They offer subs, cheeses, and snacks for both dining in and takeout. They also provide a catering service that I haven't tried, but it sounds fantastic! Whenever I'm in the north-end area, I make it a point to stop by The Rookhas to satisfy my craving for the Dagwood Sub—just the way I like it with plenty of mayo.

I ordered the Dagwood Sub, and it was fantastic! The cheese cups are also really tasty! Sherry, the owner, has been running this wonderful local restaurant for a long time. I would give it a 5-star rating for the amazing food, but the place could use a thorough cleaning and some new ceiling tiles. Still, it's definitely worth a visit if you haven't been there before!

I've been a fan of this place for decades! There have been several location changes, but it's worth visiting any of their locations. Mrs. Sherry has consistently demonstrated her dedication and commitment to our community. The sandwiches (subs), including the meat and cheese, are outstanding. The staff is passionate and caring about their work, and that's something I truly respect and appreciate. Thank you for providing years of delicious satisfaction for my taste buds!
