Tim Hortons - Parksville

The coffee isn't the best...the desserts are ..well.....not the best.Panini's aren't bad but they're....not the ( ****). We can all pretty much agree that Timmy's doesn't pull people off the street for their donuts, dry powdered soup mixes, or fine espresso. However, this former Canadian Miss Donut Beauty of the 90's does serve another role in the community. Drop by anytime between 6:30am and 9:30pm and you will find dozens of seniors hotly discussing small town politics, the Leafs playoff hopes and what a "great deal the $1.49 muffin and coffee is". If I wanted to get relected, I would spend time at Timmy's nodding my head in agreement to the faithful Timmy's crowd, kiss a few babies, and shake hands with all the geezers and then head over to Starbucks and pretend I was 30 something.

We love Tim Horton's. Usually any foul-up is due to human error. This was one of them. They didn't hear the order properly and we had to wait a bit, asking for two of the items as the table order came in bits, not all at once. Food/coffee is as expected.

Have you ever ate a pastry offering from here 24 hours after you bought it? Most pastries can handle a couple of days and still taste good, when Tims stuff tastes like garbage within a day. That should say something about the quality of ingredients this company is putting into your food. Their funky drinks are also filled with too much mystery fake flavours and such. Be smart, stop eating at this crappy chain. Demand more from your local businesses than this junk. Even the service at Tim's in my past experiences has been pretty horrible.

We like to go to Timmys every night for a coffee and a drive. We like how the staff knows us, and gets our orders just right. Marc is a great employee who always shows up with an excellent attitude, and awesome customer service. She even puts a sleeve on my daughter's iced cap because they are cold to hang on to. The only downside to Timmys is the sometimes slow drive through lines. We have often thought that the menu should be limited when ordering at the drive through so as not to hold everyone up. If you have a large or complicated order, you should go.inside the restaurant out of respect for those who could place faster orders through the drive through.

I usually go here for pick up. Line ups seem always busy but they are very efficient and get you through in orderly fashion. If you want a quick lunch sandwich or soup or both you will get a nice, freshly made sandwich selection and decent tasting soup. TIP Try try their ice chocolate drink (with chocolate milk). Its like feasting on a very delicious, cool, chocolate dessert!
