On a lunch break from work we stopped to eat at this restaurant (it's also a hotel and bar). It is well looked after and spotlessly clean and the staff is really professional and helpful, they made us feel welcomed. Especially Mrs. Diana (I don't want to get her name wrong), very sweet and really talented... We had a plate of ravioli with sauce filled with meat. Portion not too large and honestly excellent. Then we ordered an apple pie with a scoop of ice cream, soft and tasty, and a pie with a warm chocolate center, which was also really excellent. Highly recommended, we will definitely return.

Hotel in ottima posizione, utile sia per il centro storico che eventualmente per ospedali e istituti universitari. Vicino alla statale per Milano e alla ferrovia. Servizio autobus a poche decine di metri. Ampio parcheggio disponibile. Accoglienza simpatica e professionale in un ambiente famigliare. Every time I go to Pavia I go to the Rosengarten hotel which is near the San Matteo polyclinic I have always found myself well, the staff is always very friendly. Every time I have stayed they have treated me well, providing me with the best rooms with everyone comforts and services. I'll be back. Walkability: The hotel is close to the San Matteo hospital, for me who often go for medical check-ups, it is very convenient for me to reach the hospital on foot, then near the hotel there is access to the cycle and pedestrian path which it crosses viale longobardi which gives you the possibility of arriving at the station on foot in just a few minutes. Food drinks: In the hotel restaurant there is the possibility of eating well, the place is always very refined and the staff is always kind and friendly... above all the owners are the kindest of all.

We always stop at the Rosengarten Hotel, the first stop after France towards the Italian-Swiss lakes or towards Pisa, Florence or Bologna. It is a beautiful, large, unpretentious hotel, well located, quiet in the city. The rooms are priced a little high but normal for a beautiful tourist town, however you always win by dining there at a price without competition for the quality of the dishes and the low cost of the drinks. There was a large, very convenient closed parking lot a few years ago which has disappeared, but parking spaces are reserved in the very close courtyard. All in all, an address to know and recommend.
