This is a cozy little restaurant where you'll often find locals dining happily. The same person who prepares the food also delivers it to your table, making it a genuine mom-and-pop establishment in every way. While the decor left much to be desired, with renovations underway, I focused on what really mattered: the food. It was authentically traditional and bursting with flavor. Although I'm not a fan of having my food displayed in a case, it did evoke memories of NY's cuchifrittos, which specializes in fried fritters. If you're in the mood for delicious Dominican cuisine at a reasonable price, this place is worth a visit.
