Gasthaus On The Lake - Peachland

Apart from the smoke covering the lake view this was a very nice evening. Delightful waitress called Jeanie. Helpful and funny. The food was amazing. The servings were really big. So tasty as well. Highly recommend this restaurant. We ate in the more formal dining room.

We weren't throughly impressed BUT everyone else in the area must have been this place was packed! We couldn't even get a reservation ....

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. I had researched many restaurants in the Kelowna area and finally settled on this one. We are very glad we did. Our server Jeanie was delightful. We ate in the formal restaurant. The food choices were really good and the plate sizes were enormous. A lovely setting sitting outside looking at the lake - apart from the smoke we are suffering from at the moment. The food was excellent and we both managed to have a dessert and we really enjoyed them too. All in all a most pleasant evening in a lovely setting with amazing food and very nice server. Highly recommend.

Thursday night, the restaurant has a wonderful smorgasbord, it is very popular with locals and tourists. Even on a frantic Thursday in August the service was amazing. I would recommend reservations if you know a head of time you wish to eat there. If you have room after dinner the dessert tray has so many on it , it is hard to decide.

Huge portions so you get another meal in leftovers! Very good mushroom gravy. Red cabbage is very good. Pork Hock is huge with crackling!
