Great staff and great food, I go there a lot and they know what I want to order, they are doing more than just their job, they are being great and awesome friends to their customers. Very nice people.
This is another place I have been where I'm glad it's there, but nothing really knocked my socks off. The salsa and chips were good, the salsa was served warm (like I like it). The queso was really good. The kiddos got a plate of rice...don't ask me...but it's what they wanted...and they loved it! Which if we are being honest they love all places rice. Tha girl she got a typical hot and cold plate and she enjoyed it. I got a chimichunga (it's kinda my go to for new restraunts) and it was alright...again nothing awesome...but it was good. I probably won't seek thus place out, however if your in the area check it out. It's not crowded and not to bad on the pocket book. Ya'll be good and stay safe out there.
Our beverage orders were taken promptly and, while we waited, we were served chips and salsa. At this point, my hunger was at an all-time high; I could barely wait. The chips were warm and crispy, and the salsa came in a bowl that was twice the size of what you’d find at most places. The first chip dove into the salsa with gusto, resulting in a moment of sheer bliss. My son declared the salsa to be the best he’s ever had—smooth, warm, and packed with flavor. It’s mild enough for any palate, and we polished off the first bowl in record time and quickly requested a second. Everything was perfect at that moment. Now onto our main courses: **Super Burrito: 8/10** This impressive 12-inch flour tortilla was stuffed with 5 ounces of grilled steak fajitas, rice, beans, sour cream, salad, pico de gallo, and guacamole. It was a fantastic burrito—perfect if you’re really hungry. The fajita meat was tender with a superb crust. While the fillings are typical of a burrito, the quality of the meat gave this dish an edge. **Pollo Ranchero: 5/10** This dish featured grilled chicken topped with Ranchero sauce, accompanied by rice, beans, pico de gallo, and guacamole. Now, let’s address the main issue: the Ranchero sauce. It needs significant improvement; it feels more like an idea rather than a properly executed sauce. It also lacks seasoning. The chicken was tender, but it too needed a boost of flavor. Thankfully, the guacamole, rice, and beans were all quite delicious, which saved the dish from being disappointing. I left with a clean plate, but it definitely needs some reworking. Having read both positive and negative reviews of Celaya, I can say with confidence that the good far exceeds the bad. Taste is subjective, so while I loved the sauce, you might not feel the same way. However, that doesn’t mean it’s bad; it’s simply different. With excellent customer service and amazing salsa, Celaya is a place you should definitely try. Don't hesitate to voice any concerns to the management; issues can’t be fixed if they aren’t brought to their attention. Happy dining!
This was my first visit after living in Pearland for ten years. The hot sauce and chips were perfect! I ordered from the lunch menu—the enchiladas were fantastic, and I added a crispy beef taco. The food was great, and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning!
