Juanito's Mexican - Pearland

Ascending is quite perplexing. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly, but the food was really overwhelming. The queso was terrible—my 10-year-old, who usually loves queso, wouldn't even touch it. The enchiladas were bland and lacked flavor, while my husband found the fajitas to be just okay. I was surprised, as the reviews had rated this place a four.

Juanito's is fantastic! We've been coming here since it was originally named Gregory. We love supporting our local small businesses.

My first impression of this restaurant was that, if it's meant to be a Mexican spot, it needs to step things up significantly. The decor was underwhelming; I felt like I was in a cafeteria given the way the tables were set up. The food had a slightly bitter taste, especially the chicken tacos. I was told they added sugar to the green salsa, which struck me as odd—I've never encountered salsa with sugar in any other restaurant I've visited. On a positive note, the staff were friendly. I appreciate the opportunity to provide constructive feedback.

My mother and I come to Juanitos when in Pearland after their doctors visit for several years, and the service and the food is always delicious and welcoming. Please try Juanito's restaurant. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

Absolutely fantastic food. Staff is 100% on point. Everything about Juanito's has always been great.
