Flying J Travel Center - Pecos

I hope this is the right Flying J but kudos to employee Toya, she was pleasant and happy to be alive and that was refreshing if all of your employees had her disposition you?d have a lot more happy customers!

Be careful at night driving in this place, potholes around, enough space and even you get here late you probably can find parking. Natural Gas smells outside, Overall not bad !!!

This place is quite disappointing. After a long and frustrating journey from Eagle Pass, I was in desperate need of a shower, but there was no hot water and the bathrooms were not clean. The service was below expectations, and the food definitely didn't justify the cost.

Wow, this is the cleanest Flying J I've been to in quite a while. The counters at the coffee and soda station are tidy and organized, and the restrooms are incredibly clean as well.

During my recent visit, I found that there was no hot water available. The parking lot could use some improvement, as it had potholes and was quite dirty, largely due to the oilfield workers leaving trash behind. However, I must commend the staff for keeping the store clean and for being incredibly friendly. They did everything they could to accommodate my needs, which I really appreciated. It's clear they are trying hard, but it seems like PILOT doesn't provide them with much support. It's unfortunate that the employees have to work under these conditions, but their excellent attitude and upbeat demeanor made a difference.
