La Cordee - Peisey-Nancroix

We had lunch here 4 times with 4 adults and 4 children. The meat is of a really good quality (local suppliers). Nice and calm terrace, excellent service, a bit cheaper compared to the other restaurant in the area, so when considering value for money it is 10/10. Try the 'gaufres ' (waffels) or chocolate mousse. Excellent wine list. Avoid the chicken nuggets for the kids as this is the only dish that is industrial fabricated. This dish should disappear from the menu. Also excellent for taking an aperitive before ending your skiday. Small and cosy restaurant.

Arrive at the Les Arcs end of the Vanoise Express and you'll be greeted by a line of scruffy onslope cafes fine if you are young and want something quick. A much better option in Peisey Vallandry is La Cordee, just a few hundred metres upslope but quieter and with good views. Ski in from above. We waited 15 minutes for some soup to arrive and wondered about the delay. What arrived for 6.50E was absolutely delicious fresh and amongst the best soup I've had anywhere. Other diners seemed equally delighted with their food.
