A meat and three served cafeteria style. I had meat with green beans and sweet potatoes. Only the complaint was a little too much sauce on the meat cloth for my taste, but had an excellent taste. The wife ordered the country fried steak with potatoes, fried Okra and blackberry cheese. She cleaned her plate, which is unusual for her. Said everything was excellent. Service and staff are top notch and make yourself at the Grandma table. In any case, a winner for lunch and prizes cannot beat!!
Cafeteria style hot bar with sandwiches by order. A locals diner, very friendly staff, the vegetables are a little over salted however it is a southern-style diner. As you would expect. We ate from the hot bar, however the Philly, Cheese Steak being prepared in the kitchen looked awesome!
Quaint diner with great service. From greeting to table service to checking out, you can guarantee you will receive good hospitality. This spot serves breakfast and lunch. We"ve experienced both services and received consistent service. Its diner food that provides the comfort in a meal. The lunch buffett is typical of a meat vegetable set up. They have daily specials. We tried the pork chop, mashed potato, and mac and cheese. The food does not dissapoint, huge servings and priced fairly at $10.79.
This is great home cooking filled with flavor and love! I ended up going for breakfast and lunch during the same week. I called in my breakfast order. This was my first time trying them. I order 2 pancakes with blueberries and bananas with smoked sausage. When she handed me my bag, I thought the order was wrong because of how heavy it was. I didn't know that their pancakes are gigantic! The pancakes were bigger than the box. I really only needed one. They taste great and reheat pretty well. The second time I decided to dine in for lunch with my mom. It's buffet line style meat and 2 (or 3 if you're really hungry). I had the baked fish, green lima beans, fried okra, and a roll. You can't really mess up baked fish. The lima beans were well seasoned and reminded me of my granny's. The fried okra was just plain perfect! Crispy but not overly greasy. I most definitely will go back!
Good food! I’m on anytime for meats and vegetables. And they had good chicken fingers.
