Thai World - Pembroke Pines

My new favorite Thai restaurant! Everything we tried was delicious, especially the Pad Thai noodles. The portions were generous, with jumbo shrimp included. It took us three days to finish our meal!

The quality of the fried wontons, wonton soup, and especially the ginger beef has declined. The meat was tough, and the ginger sauce lacked mushrooms, resulting in an off flavor. However, the red curry and fried rice were delicious.

The food was bland and served cold. I ordered the Pad Thai, and the vegetable egg rolls tasted like they came straight from the freezer at Costco. I won't be returning.

Although, the portion, maybe… The food is not great. I've had many pad Thai's, and this is not up there with the others. The noodles were basically in a huge clump stuck together!!! It was dry, not salty at all. I would not recommend the dumplings appetizer. The chicken was so dry. The Tom Yum soup is tasty, but heads up it's basically broth with one mushroom cut into 42 pieces of quarter tomato, a piece of cucumber and two pieces of small cabbage. 

Ordered pad see ew and received pad Thai noodles with broccoli and chicken. This is not pad see ew and no respectable Thai restaurant would try to pass it off as such. I also ordered Tom kha gai soup and it was basically just straight up warmed coconut milk with mushrooms and scallions. I lived in NY for 10 years and have had some amazing Thai food. This isn't even close. Save your money.
