Asador Molino De Palacios - Penafiel

A traditional restaurant in Peñafiel with authentic food and variety of wine selection. Although I did not make a reservation and walked in, they tried to make a table for me and served the food with warm heart. As the food and wine with its authentic atmosphere, I had to return the restaurant and Noemi and her colleagues organised to reserve a table for me for following day and had a wonderful opportunity to enjoy their food once more. Highly recommend this place for anyone who travels/visits to Peñafiel and wish you would not miss this fantastic chance.

Great restaurant in this wine region. We had the artichoke salad and their specialty lamb dish. Both were very tasty but what sets this place apart is the beautiful ambiance. The restaurant is built right on top of the river that runs thru the town! Very special place.

Lamb lovers haven. Nose to tail slow roasted lamb and other regional specialities like kidneys, hare, blood sausages. Good wine list with very reasonable prices. Friendly attentive service in a rustic stone-walled restaurant at an old mill, with seating looking out onto the garden and river. Bring your wine and coffee outside for a 100% experience. Great for dates and big groups.
