The Craigie - Penicuik

Off the beaten track and amongst residential housing! Lovely hotel, well situated for Edinburgh city and Roslyn Chapel. See my other reviews .The hotel is clean and tidy. Great staff, polite and friendly. Evening dinner was amazing. And breakfast was to order. Anything that's on the menu including the cakes. The salmon and scrambled eggs was very tasty. Highly recommend this hotel and if we visited Edinburgh again we're likely to come stay here.

Was pleasantly surprised as had been before and was very disappointed. However it was different owners then. Will be back.

We had a great meal, the waiters were really good and attentive the food was amazing.
