Tekilas Mexican Grill Bukanas

I've tried a lot of the Mexican cuisine in NEPA and decided to try this place as it's relatively new. I placed an order over the phone and went to pick up my order. At first impression, I noticed that there were not many dinners at the restaurant, yet several waitresses just stood around and chit chatted while I wanted for serve. My food was not ready when I arrived. I waited at the bar until my meal was ready. You'd think one of the waitresses would ask if I'd like a drink while I wait, but it was never offered to me. I finally got my meal and took it home. I got home to fine no cutlery in the bag. My chicken nachos were an absolute disgrace! Some shredded chicken with shredded American cheese and some lettuce? How is the Mexican food? Why did I wait for something this thrown together? The food wasn't very good and when combined with the service; I'll never be back.

Was in town having our truck worked on. My husband had a taste for Mexican and front desk clerk suggested Telikas. Apparently they were in a building that had previously been a bar. It has only been open for a few months.however, the service was great and the food was outstanding! I had the burrito Cabo. It was larger than expected and filled with rice, black beans and shrimp. They did not skimp on any of the ingredients and the flavors meshed together well! It was absolutely delicious! There was so much I opted to take half back to hotel for the next day! It heated up well in microwave and was just as good the second time around! I highly recommend Tekilas if you’re craving Mexican cuisine!

Taco was soggy, fell literally everywhere. Chips were stale. Flies everywhere inside, all over food. Waitress was always unattentive.

I wouldn 't recommend. We ate there last night. Ordered a coke from the fountain and ice tea. The cheese dip is good, that 's the positive. Unfortunately the rest of the experience was sub par. Started off looking at the menu you can tell they are trying to save money. We were given a menu that says lunch then was explained in order to order dinner (it was dinner time, approx 5pm) that we use the lunch menu and they create the meal. No prices. I don 't like that I want a dinner menu with prices. So we ordered cheese queso, chemistry, and fajita tacos. Some without sour cream. The restaurant was empty only us in it. The food came out covered in sour cream. It was fixed pretty quickly but tough to overlook since only 2 meals were being made in the kitchen. Very Bland food needs seasoning. The food overall wasn 't very good. I was also very shocked when we received our bill to find $16 in charges for our 2 ice teas and cherry coke. I don 't think I will return when there is better options for the price very close by.

I wanted to try this place for quite a while. On 9/8/23, I convinced my wife and another couple(who wanted to go somewhere else to try Tekilas. We were greeted quickly and politely by the hostess to a table we requested outside. She gave us our menus and returned quickly with our specialty drink menus. We sat there for nearly 20 minutes until my wife went back to the hostess to remind her we were there. She apologized and said someone will be with us. After another 10 minutes, another waitress outside of our section must have realized how long we were sitting there and came over for a drink order(great job! . Our waitress finally delivered our drinks(one was incorrect . We ordered 2 burritos and fajitas for 2. The other couple enjoyed their burritos and the casadia my wife and I shared was burnt and stuck to the pan. At this point we picked through it and ate what we could and left the rest. I thought when the waitress saw what was left and didn't want it to go she would have questioned it. Nope, but not surprised. On a high note, the margaritas were very good. I ordered a second. Overall, we were there for over 2 hours for four people. I may go back and sit at the bar, order a margarita and when I got hungry try something else to eat. Otherwise, I think this will be a pass with all of the other great mexican options in this area. I'm a simple guy. Get me a drink and I can wait bring me my check when I'm done so I can be on my way. Everything else in between is about having fun.
