Cactus Cantina Downtown Pensacola

We had a fantastic experience at Cactus Cantina. We were seated immediately, and the restaurant had a pleasant crowd with plenty of available seating. While it offers a typical Mexican menu, the presentation, flavor combinations, and taste set it apart as something special. The atmosphere was very family-friendly, featuring large video games and flat screens around the dining area. Whether you're dining solo or hosting a banquet, this place accommodates all. I will definitely return to this restaurant on my next visit to Pensacola. I’m giving it a score of 7 out of 10, however, because I ordered from the bar and one of our meals arrived late.

Not the best Mexican in Pensacola, but his pretty good. You have several locations, I only visited downtown Pensacola. I was here for lunch and dinner a few times. All times the staff was nice, friendly and offered excellent suggestions. I enjoyed every meal and drink here. Friendly, fun environment if you want a meal for yourself, date or a group of friends. You also have a basketball and other arcade games to play. Cant forget the cactus belts, they are delicious! In vain give the Grips an attempt, they will pleasantly surprise you.

I thought I might get an authentic Mexican taste from this place but unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with my take out order which included carne Asada tacos, a burrito and a side of beans and rice. To be honest, everything simply tasted like salt. There was no flavor other than overwhelming saltiness that led to incredible thirst. The steak tacos looked much more appealing than they tasted.

Fantastic dining spot in downtown! The chips and salsa were delicious, and I really enjoyed the thin chips. The staff was excellent, frequently checking in to see if we needed anything. Our food arrived exceptionally quickly! If you're planning to chat and sip drinks, you might want to pace your order a bit. Our food came within just five minutes of ordering, which meant we didn’t get to savor the chips, salsa, and queso as much as we’d hoped! We didn’t have to wait for a table, and for those with kids, there are arcade-style games to keep them entertained. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating, perfect for people-watching, and there’s a wide selection of drinks and a variety of dishes to choose from!

The food was excellent, and it arrived incredibly quickly after we placed our order! We were really impressed, laughing at how fast it was. I can honestly say it was the best meal I’ve had here. Everything came out in just about five minutes, tops. The waitress was very friendly and professional. I will definitely be returning!
