Ichiban - Pensacola

Claire was our waitress, and she was attentive and excellent. The food was delicious. We ordered calamari, a California roll, a mango roll, a Hawaiian roll, and a super crazy roll. Everything was spot on. The place was also nice and clean.

We just experienced Ichiban for the first time last night, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends, and the menu offers an extensive selection. I can't wait to return and sample everything else! The drink menu looks impressive as well. I ordered the shrimp tempura, which arrived quite quickly and was a generous portion! It was definitely worth it. The prices were reasonable compared to several other Japanese restaurants we've visited, and the portion sizes were quite generous. There are multiple pages dedicated to sushi on the menu, but there are also plenty of options for those who don't eat sushi or fish.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. My guests tried a noodle dish and chicken tempura, both of which they loved, and the portions were quite generous. They also shared a cucumber appetizer. I opted for the seaweed salad and Rainbow Sashimi, which was expertly prepared and delicious. Even the green tea was of high quality, reminiscent of Matcha. Overall, it was a very enjoyable visit. Julian, our waiter and host, was patient and professional. Thank you!

Ichiban is an outstanding restaurant that offers delicious Japanese cuisine, including fresh and inventive sushi, bento boxes, salads, and soups (the miso and Udon are particularly noteworthy). The restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere. Our service was both professional and friendly, and the wait times were perfectly managed for a busy evening. It was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend to anyone seeking Japanese food in Pensacola. Highlights of our meal included the Cowboy Roll, Crunchy Roll, Steak Bento Box, Udon Soup with Chicken Tempura, and Cheese Yakimando as appetizers, along with a ginger salad and egg drop soup. Definitely a five-star experience!

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was a delightful experience! Although they didn't have a vegetarian yaki udon option, they kindly removed all the meat for me. Our server was extremely friendly, and I really appreciated that. The interior was beautiful and well-maintained, creating a lovely atmosphere. I believe this place is part of a chain, so I might check out their Foley location as well!
