The Fish House - Pensacola

I have driven by this restaurant a few times and decided to stop by with my wife and I am glad that I did. The food was delicious, try the blackened shrimp and the fried green tomatoes are some of the best that I have ever had. Our server was first class, I would go back for the service alone. The water view is also spectacular. Definitely a place you want to try. They lost a star on the condition of the bathroom.

The drinks we had at the bar ahead of being seated were by far the highlight of our experience. We were sorely disappointed in the service by the wait staff and in the food. The appetizers sounded amazing, but $14 for one crabcake was absurd. The meals were flavorless. Everything needed salt and seasoning. The best entree was the seared tuna. The greens, pimento Mac n cheese, and hush puppies were bland. Fish and shrimp breading needed spice and seasoning. Our server was not good on checking back with us once food was delivered. We got our own condiments. The location was lovely.

One of the best restaurants I have eaten during my stay in Pensacola! The food was delicious, but what really was our experience was Sharon from the gift shop. We stopped to search while we waited for our table and she was the absolutely sweetest person! She was very helpful and just so nice!! If something, listen and say hello to her and buy a few things From the restaurant we ordered some appetizers and shrimps. The wings were amazing, everyone loved the shells and salmon poke! Would definitely recommend this place!

It is worth making a trip just to eat their grits A Ya Ya! The creamiest goose filled with bacon bits, scalions, and perfectly seasoned and cooked shrimps. We also had the fried oysters who were crispy, but not quite fried as long as we wished. The hush puppies are fried golden brown with only one touch of sweetness. The cream brulee had a crispy sugar glaze over the soft pudding. The waitress was very friendly and the food came out quite quickly. The view is beautiful and the vibe is chic casual.

This is a very good restaurant with seafood. You have a good menu with many fresh seafood. Gumbo, Cesear Salat. Shrimps and grits, fried shrimps and crab cake sandwich were all delicious. The key lime cake dessert was wonderful, cheesecake was also delicious. Servings are a bit expensive, but HUGE so you can take your left home. The staff is very nice and helpful, the restaurant is clean and beautiful. You also have a gift shop next door with cute shirts, jewelry and good cookbook.
