V's Taproom - Peoria

Food is good. Lots of variety and well prepared. Service is good and ambiance is good. All round excellence.

A nice establishment with great food and great service. Prices are moderately high, but not excessive. There were so many items on their incredible menu I would like to have tried, such as the Millionaire Burger or the Wild Mushroom Pizza. I settled on the Firecracker Shrimp Salad and was not disappointed. I'll definitely be heading back to V's Taproom in the near future.

Meh. Decent looking place. Staff was nice. Went there for the stroganoff because I saw some good reviews on it but they they don't serve it anymore. Ended up getting the chicken fried chicken. The chicken was way overdone inside and the gravy was a bit weak. The mashed potatoes were just mashed potatoes. The broccoli was done perfectly but there was no flavoring to it just plain broccoli. I mentioned this to the server when I asked for a to go box. You would've thought he would have at least gotten the manager or something. For over $25, you'd think this meal would have been incredible. It's worth about $6.95 If they have stroganoff at some point, I might be back, but otherwise, nah.

Restaurant should not be using yelp waitlist since they can't meet the times. We waited 60 min after the committed time. Then 45 min for our food.
