L'Ecailler du Castillet - Perpignan

The restaurant, only outside seats I believe among the magnificent platanes in the park esplanade of the platanes of boulevard wilson. only a few steps from the castille and the historic center. it is mainly a very good fish restaurant. satisfied selection of fish, oysters and other seafood. excellent wine. the location is very pleasant sitting under the huge platinum trees. good value. good service.

Very good restaurant for eating seafood in the center of perpignan. I eat only fish okkaisional, and this is one of the places in perpignan that I would choose to do this. the moules fries (mussels and fries) come in a lot of sauces and. are always a safe bet.

It was a Sunday night in september and our plans to eat in a particular restaurant did not work that restaurant was closed! back to our car we went the menu board for this restaurant and were from the set menu of. the day, and the price of almost 17 euro attracted! we were often over here, so we thought why we didn't try? we are very pleased that we managed to make it surprisingly good! while we decide what to eat, we enjoyed a glass keir when we sat at our table in open air under the huge aircraft trees that give natural shadows in this central boulevard. our selection from the tageskarte were six oysters for my friend and a bowl gazpacho with basilikum sorbet for me as our appetizers, followed by moules marinières and chips for my friend, and tuna tartare, chips and salat for me. to dessert chose my friend the mango tarte tatin while I had a île flottante, and both were delicious. with a half liter good local wein and two coffees, the total bill came by just sixty euro quality and worth were excellent, even if the service was somewhat slow after our order had been taken. but it was a nice hot evening and we could watch the people as we enjoyed the sunset, so no real complaining there! everything in all, a very pleasant evening, and next year, when I am back in perpignan, I will certainly make my way to this excellent small open-air restaurant.
