Suddenly they have good burgers for a Mexican restaurant. Also I’m pretty sure that they have a big margarita recipe first (seriously some of the best margaritas around hands down) and thought hmm we should probably eat with these just to be safe and follow their menu. Anyway, I love stopping here when I get the chance to definitely check it if you're looking to avoid a chain restaurant and have some great swamps in this process!
Stop going about a year ago. Food and margaritas didn't seem so good. Stayed for lunch. The food was excellent when we remembered. We're definitely going back. Not sure if it's under new management, but it got a bit better.
Charge For Chips Lose Your Customers!. I'm part of a group from my choir at a local Perrysburg church that would often visit after rehearsal on Thursday evenings during the school year. This group started in around and a few of the folks were members of CB's so-called Rock Club which in return for a modest sum per year, entitled one to food discounts/free monthly lunch, a private party around Christmastime, and a personal engraved stainless-steel margarita glass.Several years ago, Mama Barron retired and moved to Arizona, leaving her daughter (IIRC) in charge. Now C/B's food is not authentic Mexican, but it was always good! Since the original proprietress' retirement, the food quality has suffered. The final straw for the group, however, was the fact that C/B started charging for chips salsa, which had always been free! Seventy-five cents may not be a big deal, but at most Mexican restaurants you expect chips salsa. They could have charged for the second basket(s) for a group if the group was buying dinner, even, but no! And our group always ordered upwards of worth of food drink.Casa Barron's was always good for decent, if not authentic Mexican! However, there are now better choices (with free chips) in Perrysburg!
Worst place ever for Mexican food. A microwave dinner would be way better and much cheaper. The reason the drinks are so good and strong is so you can eat the food, otherwise you'd walk out. Once we realized it was owned by the Loma Linda people, we left before they could charge us for chips and salsa! Unreal they are still in business and people actually call it food or authentic
