Esmeralda Mexican - Perth Amboy

I recently ordered tamales to go, so I can't comment on the service as I didn't dine in. However, I can say that I tried three different varieties of tamales, and all three were outstanding. I will definitely return to try more items from the menu. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the mood for Mexican food.

The food is delicious and affordable, plus they offer free chips. The salsas are excellent, and the tacos never fail to impress!

Mixed plate’s steak is definitely questionable, but the cheese empanada was gooood.

Delicious food from generous portions! We ordered tacos and enchiladas, and both were plentiful and flavorful! I encountered a few challenges with communication since my Spanish isn't very strong, but we managed to overcome the language barrier and successfully exchanged cash for a fantastic dinner. We look forward to coming back as customers soon!

Very clean and welcoming. They offer generous meals and at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the meals very and the staff were super friendly and chatty. Very recommended.
