Beijing Hot Pot Restaurant - Perth

It was a weekday catch up with my cousin. I’ve seen this restaurant a few times, but I’ve never been in it. This is the second time that I’ve gone to a hot pot place. As for me I wouldn’t be going to a hot pot place as I think the price is overrated. Anyways I think it’s quite true, it’s very pricy for what it is. The interior of the restaurant represent the restaurant it’s Chinese style. The chairs and tables are very uncomfortable to sit on. My legs were a bit longer, when I put my leg straight, it was against the bottom of the table. We went and try and we think it’s disappointing and expensive. We ordered meat slices, beef, pork and chicken, some fish balls selection, some vegetable and mushroom, the bill totalled to $78. They even charge for sauce! Which I think it’s an overkill. The worst thing is when I was about to pay, they said they do accept credit card, but there is an extra charge on it. They advise if it is savings or cash option would be good. I don’t think I would return to this place again. It’s expensive and not worth the hype.

They have mini hotpot for lunch. We always have the pork set and we love their handmade pork mushroom smooth! It would be better if the vege comes with set can change from cabbage to Chinese cabbage. I love hotpot especially on winter! Warm my tummy and happy ???? spicy soup here is good ???? hope perth can have more hotpot choices.

The lunch individual hotpots were a pretty good deal! I think ~$14 for you choice of meat and vegies. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and portion size and would definitely come back again. Of the soup bases I think the MaLa was the best - tasty and not too overwhelming. The milk hot pot was so so nothing like the amazing one I've had in Taiwan but still ok. All in all good comfort food for the price I definitely left stuffed.

Yummy mini hotpot that is reasonably priced and good serving size. Good selections available for lunch. Staff just need to tell new customers about the self serve cordiments available to enhance their hotpot.
