Absolutely love Sayers Sisters. I always bring friends here when they visit Perth. The food is delicious, hot and comes out efficiently. Get the croquettes, they are amazing. The staff are very friendly. Reasonable prices. It's very busy on weekends, but the staff always give accurate wait times, you can order coffee, and sometimes they bring muffins out.
Friends and I met here today for brunch. On Sundays, they only provide their breakfast menu, and the place was so busy at 12:30pm, that we had to wait outside for a table (with others that were also waiting for a table - apparently they don't take bookings). The wait wasn't too long - although we did have to sit the 3 of us at a 2 seater table (one side was a continuous bench, so 2 of us sat there).Food was good, tasty. The potato rosti was interesting - it was a slice of what looked like a huge potato cake - not crunchy and not like I expected to receive a rosti (or am used to receiving a rosti).Staff were attentive and courteous.Price was pretty standard for Perth - $20 for breakfast. It's a popular place.Did I like it? Yes, it wasn't bad. Would I race to eat here again? No.
A check of Trip Adviser will reveal that this restaurant/cafe has very high ratings across the Perth area and it is well deserved. I went for breakfast and was most impressed. Delicious food, capped off by fabulous service which is not all that common in Perth. Service was friendly, attentive and you could tell that the staff enjoyed working there. I observed them keeping any eye on tables, being quick to greet new customers and if your coffee was empty, offering another. The humorous thing for me was that I went on a public holiday Monday. Most other cafe's were closed around 8.00am - too hard on a public holiday apparently and wages too high, BUT Sayers Sister was buzzing, full of customers and plenty of staff. No doubt it cost them more to open with wage costs, but I assume they still did alright because of the busy custom. That's a mark of a clever owner/manager, not a living in the 1950's common Perth one. Well done Sayers Sister, you have another regular customer in me.
Came here for brunch on a weekend. The place is really quirky and have some interesting options on the menu.. not your typical brunch place but the food was amazing and coffee was good quality.
