Írjon visszajelzéstWhen I first spotted Karina's Mexican Bakery, I was excited to try the freshly baked pan dulce. Unfortunately, the next day I found only bagged pan dulce, along with a few other items for sale, all in a shabby and not-so-clean environment. I probably should have just walked away, but I wanted to support local businesses and give them a chance. So, I ordered some pupusas, but that’s where my disappointment began. The pupusas were poorly prepared, lacking the traditional mountain of curtido and instead filled with an unappetizing mixture. If you're looking for great pupusas, I recommend trying El Zocalo in South San Francisco instead.
A warm and welcoming establishment with a friendly atmosphere. They offer a wide variety of traditional baked goods.
We went here for the first time in a cleaning year and were very disappointed. we liked this place often and found their broth and baked very well, probably enough to rate about 4 in the past, but for various reasons we had 't here for a few years before the covid shutdown of March 2020. the place was dirty and very disorganized, much of it looked as if it had been given over the random storage of things, and not even organized. the selection of the articles was practically not present and there was essentially nothing fresh, but only day old and the like. the place hardly seemed to do anything to make business at all and seemed neglected. we got things for a group, so we decided to have a bag of small hupengebäck. because it is not really much to choose. When we came to our destination, we saw that the bag had a pretty big hole in it and they were not good, maybe stale. that was also in the middle of the morning, so it was not because they were either simply opened or finished. Maybe that's another victim of Covid shutdowns, but I don't know. I have decided to give two stars on the basis of the past experience and to give the advantage of the doubt at this point, because this was the first visit in a time. truly, but this specific experience was a 1 star and would not justify another visit.
Wow! The best homemade-style Mexican dishes at unbelievably low prices. The chicken soup is hearty enough to serve two and is packed with ingredients. The tamales and pupusas are fantastic as well. Don't expect anything fancy; if you want a classy dining experience, take your food to go. Be prepared to share the space with local farm hands who come here for every meal.
Some of the best tamales in town, no doubt about it! To be honest, I don't shop here on my day to day. But on special occasions, we will hit up this place on the tamale order. Like I said...the best place in town!
