Publican House Brewery Pub

You have to eat here. We did! We regularly drive to Peterborough to enjoy this great brew pub. What delicious food and delicious beer and friendly service! And reasonable prices. Once we had the weekend special: a lamb and chickpeas vindaloo in a mid-season Indian curry sauce. Delicious! This time we had pizzas. ****! This pub has a wide selection of very good ales; enough to please every palate. My favorite is the Square Nail Pale Ale. And yes, after dinner, I bought some of her shop next door to take home and enjoy. It was worth the ride!

That was a big surprise for us. We were looking for a terrace that allowed dogs. Not only their lower terrace allows dogs, but the server brought out a water bowl for our pup and water for us. The food was fantastic. Our son got the pizza for children who was very generous. My husband and daughter have the burger, and they said it was one of the best burgers they had in a while. I have the shrimp tacos and a side beet garden salad. That was delicious! Since it is also a brewery, its beer selection was wide and varied. We got her beer back to an animal shelter. I would highly recommend this place!

The late Sunday dinner in this restaurant was a very smart decision. Beers were unique, dishes were pleasant, and atmosphere was pleasant. I have to go back at least often to try all beers available!

So glad we went here! Beer was delicious-flavours match their descriptions very well! Enjoyed the beer so much we went to the brewery store next door to buy some. Staff was excellent! I felt welcome from from when I opened the door to when I left! Had a red coconut Thai curry with homemade flatbread and a flight of beer. You won’t be disappointed!

Great food, great service. Was unfortunately sold out of flights when we arrived but every beer was a great choice! Looking forward to making this a stop again the next time I'm passing through!
