Nanny's - Petersburg

I stopped at Nanny’s during a road trip to New Hampshire, and the buffet was incredible! The southern-style cooking was outstanding, featuring fried chicken, homemade mashed potatoes, and delicious brisket. What a fantastic place!

The restaurant boasts a lovely country atmosphere, delicious food, and a beautifully clean environment.

However, I wasn't a fan of the fries; they were a bit soggy for my taste, as I prefer my fries crispy. Maybe next time I’ll opt for the onion rings instead. I definitely plan to return when I’ve worked up an appetite to try the buffet offerings, which looked incredibly tempting. The restaurant was packed during the Friday lunch hour, with a steady flow of customers coming and going, and I can see why it’s so popular. It’s a shame their hours are limited!

The food is consistently amazing—it's hard to believe it's a buffet given the high quality and flavor of the dishes served.

The food here is truly exceptional. My favorite dish from the buffet has to be the Hamburger and Gravy. I highly recommend Nannie’s to anyone in search of a great meal. In my opinion, it's a solid 5-star experience!
