Khantok Thai Cuisine - Phangnga

We came in for the Thai set menu. So many options! The food was brilliantly presented, delicious and staff were very happy to help with me silly questions (no you don't eat the banana leaf wrapped around the chicken! . Nice entertainment and the free (and delicious cocktail that came with dinner! Was lovely!

I thought the set menu offer was genius! It’s definitely worth the price for 4 different dishes with two kinds of rice menu the food was delicious but I was a little disappointed with the Tom Yum Goong. It is not spicy (I’m guessing it’s tourist friendly) but as a Southeast Asian, I did not expect the Tom Yum from a 5 star resort in Thailand to be bland. It lacks the sour and spicy element any Tom Yum should have. Otherwise, the other selection of cuisines are up to standard! Love the soothing Thai music performance for the ambience!

Stayed at Santhiya and this was one of the restaurants on site. We were in the mood for Some traditional Thai food and this place did not disappoint. A little pricey but it was a Valentines Day treat. We had a lovely table looking out to the sea and the sunset which was just magical. Highly recommend the massaman curry and the chicken with cashew and tamarind sauce.
