Booker's And - Philadelphia

The waitress and service was great my friend and i ordered chicken and waffle, the chicken was fried too hard and the waffles were to light, i wll try them again but ,try some of the other menus like fish and grits, which one friend said was good

My friends and I loved this restaurant and will return. From the moment we stepped in the door they made us feel welcome and comfortable. The glasses of wine were generous pours and our mistake was ordering apps because we got full fast. The food was delicious and they gave my friend free desert with a candle on it because it was her birthday. We ordered the chicken gumbo soup, deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail, orders of cornbread, oxtails over rice, short ribs with mashed potatoes and string beans, fried catfish with mashed potatoes and collard greens and a vegan jambalaya. Every thing was delicious and the prices were reasonable. We all left Booker's with enough leftovers for dinner the next day.

I am so grateful for my experience at Booker's! The ambiance was amazing and I was fortunate to have been seated in an area with some other fantastic people,. Our server, Paige, was outstanding!!!! She was attentive, engaging and extremely professional. The menu offered a variety of options to make any foodie happy. I found the food to be very good tasty and plentiful!! I am not local to Philadelphia but I will return! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Food was sent back times smh and the waitress was poorly trained.

Our server was amazing. I think her name was Jessica. Very attentive and professional.
