Burrata - Philadelphia

Date night with my wife of 30 years. Dinner was awesome this is serious home cooked Italian. It a small place so yes it gets noisy but not out of control, it’s a local place and it was a Friday night so lots of friends getting together to catch up.

Been there on several occasions, ordered mussels several times this time they were not so great, not enough broth or flavor, the rest of the meal was wonderful… However when you start a meal that’s not so great it’s just disappointing.

The service is impeccable and eating has absolutely bleededed away. each dish was so well balanced and tasty. we will be coming back!

We had been looking forward to our first time in this restaurant, but were disappointed by the experience. our waitress was unfriendly and rude. we felt hastened, though there were empty tables and no line. the salmon was dry and my niece was sick at night after I had eaten the scallops. I hope the things change, but our experience was really disappointing.

We are happy to bring this jewel of a restaurant right around the corner of us. we love to bring friends there because we know that eating is always great! the homemade tagliatelle with bolognese was perfect! our friends had the gnocchi and salmon. each plate was discarded happy. the employees are all knowledgeable, courteous and provide really a service with a smile. we look forward to our next meal in burrata.
