Crown Fried Chicken - Philadelphia

This is my favorite spot for halal chicken and lamb over rice. I've tried several places, but this Crown always comes out on top. The salad features fresh and crunchy lettuce and cucumber, and the chicken and lamb are juicy. The rice is deliciously fluffy, and the white sauce is excellent, while the hot sauce is mild. It's a must-try!

The wings and fries were served hot and tasted great. However, the banana pudding comes from a box and has a synthetic banana flavor. It also lacks any freshly sliced bananas; it’s just pudding and cookies.

Almost always perfect. ! I love their Chicken Over Rice and the Ice Tea Lemonade jumbo and their flavorful Collard Greens. Dasher Agnes was great as well : such a caring person. !

The chicken was fantastic—freshly cooked and served hot. However, the macaroni and cheese lacked flavor; I could barely taste the cheese. The rice salad was decent, as were the greens.

Chicken over rice and greens are always perfect! Super flavorful! Half and half has either a good day or a bad one. I order from here often.
