James Restaurant Bar - Philadelphia

Fantastic food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. This is definitely a spot to visit if you’re in the Philadelphia area.

I had a wonderful time there last night! I was in Philly for the day, and Meghan and the team made me feel special with their warm and genuine hospitality. I can't wait to come back!

The restaurant features a stunning contemporary interior within an elegant historic building. They offer fantastic Happy Hour specials and have a nice selection of draft beers. I absolutely loved the crab cakes, and the meatloaf was impressive as well. Don’t miss the private dining room located in the old vault! The service is excellent, with a highly trained staff. I’ll definitely be returning.

The menu may be small, but it is exceptional! The atmosphere is lovely, and the service was impeccable. I will certainly recommend this restaurant! The lump crab cake sandwich was absolutely amazing! They also have a great selection of beers!

I visited this restaurant for the second time, and it was an excellent dinner experience! The beef short rib was fantastic, and if anyone thinks the portion is small, I recommend ordering an appetizer first. I opted for the Brussels sprouts, and they were definitely the best $8 I've spent in a long time—kudos to the chef!
