Kurry Shack - Philadelphia

If you happen to catch this place when they're open, definitely take advantage because the food is exceptional. Their listed hours on Google are often inaccurate, unless they simply don't answer the phone. I've tried calling multiple times with no response, but I'm not even upset about it. The authentic Indian cuisine is prepared with love and the service is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

This place is amazing! The samosa chaat here is the best I've ever tasted. I'm so pleased to have discovered this gem of a restaurant.

I stopped in for a quick lunch with my friends while visiting Philadelphia. This place is absolutely delicious. The flavors make your tastebuds scream with delight!! I got the Makhani chicken curry. The price for the size is better than most places! Thecurry was just the way I expected and more. With lots of chicken, I couldn?t have asked for a better lunch. I got the garlicnaan as well, perfect for dipping or alone!! The employees gave me mango lassi on the house! So refreshing. Give this place atry!! Either for take out or dine in. It?s definitely a hole in the wall place! So happy I found them.

I went to the restaurant for a meal, but the owner, Hasan, asked me to leave because I had worked there before and hadn't been paid my wages. He refused to pay me and didn't want me to return as a customer. Additionally, he had also not paid another employee's salary for a week in the past.

If you're in search of a top-notch Indian restaurant, Taste of Punjab in Philly is the place to go. During a recent visit with my party on our way back home to NYC, we had an incredible dining experience. The mixed appetizers and samosas were fantastic, and the Tandoori mixed grill was superb. The garlic naan was delicious, and the flavorful rice complemented the meal perfectly. Our waitress, Jasmine, and her father, who did all the cooking, were just as amazing as the food.
