Ono Hawaiian Bbq - Phoenix

I really enjoy this restaurant when I'm away from my usual Hawaiian food options in my neighborhood. The portions are very generous for the price and the quality is consistently good.

The restaurant at this location is in need of some maintenance. The booths are dirty and unpleasant. We were interested in purchasing a gift card deal, but were informed that we could not use it on the same day. As a result, they missed out on a forty dollar sale and my future business. It seemed illogical, since the money would be going back to their restaurant anyway. The food was tasty, but it would have been even more enjoyable if we had been able to use our own gift cards. Personally, I will not be returning to this location due to its age and lack of cleanliness. I hope the owner will consider taking pride in their business by renovating and conducting a thorough cleaning.

I ordered Spam and eggs over cabbage and it was delicious. I wish they would also offer Loco Moco on the menu!

Plan Jane restaurant. its modest, and there is nothing really to brag about. I guess that's why I never see it busy...
