Soup Sausage Bistro - Phoenix

Wow. This place is absolutely hands down one of the BEST restaurants Ive probably ever had. Their Hunter Stew is something you absolutely have to try. The flavors are to die for. Beef Cabbage Rolls 3pc. were amazing! Better than mom used to make (sorry mom). Now for the Sicilian Links Sausage and Italian Hot Sausage absolutely flavorful and juicy!! Best sausages Ive ever had. Take the chance and try it, itll be something youll crave

Wow. This is my first time ever eating anything from this restaurant and it wont be the last (next time will be in person). The beef cabbage rolls were out of this world diving. The honey cake was just magical. Both the borscht and the heart chicken boullion soups were flavor heaven. Everything tasted fresh and homemade and packed perfectly. I have never eaten any of these dishes and I am now scratching my head wondering why I havent before?

Absolutely amazing food! The staff is friendly and helpful. My favorites were the cabbage ball, dumplings and smoked sausage, but it was all great. Can't wait to go back.

My dining room partner is part of Polish and I was hoping we could find food like his mother and grandmother used to make. He is very shy on compliments, but ate every drop of soup, each drop of perogie smoothed in bacon / onions / cream and a little of my pork with cherry sauce and baby potatoes sample! He agrees we should come back and try some more dishes. I think he was very happy. He claimed he never tried Borschtsch soup before, but I had (on a few trips to Russia and Estonia) and the spoon I tried was really good! This is a family restaurant with some stands and tables. They order at the counter, but they served us at our table. The curtains were quite decorative and reminded me of some of the colorful shirts worn in Eastern European countries. All in all, this was a really charming experience. On a hot and humid summer day in Phoenix it was nice that someone else cook this kind of kitchen instead of cooking soup for hours at home!

Ukrainian food like Grandma. Good selection of traditional foods such as Pierogies, Potato pancakes, Sauerkraut and Borscht. As a vegetarian, I ate the marinated cabbage. Huge bowl. You have other vegetarian options such as brewed vegetables and salads.
