Pialligo Estate Garden Pavilion

I had lunch with a friend on 15th December. The restaurant was busy but we had a relaxing lunch and wonderful food. A staff member Rachel looked after our table and she was very helpful and guided us through the menu and gave very helpful advice on the size of portions and side dishes etc

The heat was unbearable, and the noise level was quite high. The service was just average, and they seemed eager to usher us out once we finished lunch. Halfway through our meal, we were moved to a side pavilion to escape the heat. You would expect a better roofing system than just clear panels, and relying on portable coolers for a restaurant of this caliber feels inadequate.

Disappointed in the service, our meals were put on hold due to a wedding and another large party event. Noise levels made it difficult to have a conversation. On arrival the floor had food dropped on it as it was the access point to wedding.

3 accusations to confirm my booking in the 36 hours before booking was annoying to say the least and badly automated booking system on the teh competence of the restaurant, especially since I corresponded to booking on the first request. Maybe pialligo should look for another online booking provider.
