Crama Domneasca Restaurant

Decided to dine in the restaurant as we were too tired to get out of the hotel. Everything was so bad! We ordered Roman dishes, bad quality of products at ridiculously expensive prices. Wine very expensive, not clear why?! Romanian wine... service was not existent..., no interest at all, we left the place and not asked how it was...or maybe they already know the answer!!!!

We went to this place because of its beautiful location in the center. They gave us a nice table and it was pretty busy, so we thought that was a good sign. We didn't have to wait too long for the food, but when it came to the table, all secondary dishes were already cold. The portions are good, but the food is not that big. It was a little gland, the rice was too wet. The atmosphere at the place seemed good. When we wanted to pay, the waiter immediately pointed out that a service tip was not included by tapping the bill on the table in front of us with his finger, where it said Service 0.00. He basically asked for a tip. Although the food was not great, we left a tip. But it wasn't enough for them they told us. We said that we have no more money on us, what was the truth, but he still said that it was very common in Romania to leave a much higher percentage (later we found that this was not true). When we finally convinced him that we had no more money, he finally retreated. Later we learned from two locals that this was very unusual behavior and probably because they thought we were tourists. Will definitely not go back here and recommend looking for another place.

We had a nice lunch at Crama Domneasca. We chose this restaurant because it is very well positioned and very close to where we were. We had a pleasant surprise when we were able. The decor was authentic and very interesting. Also... the temperature of the place was perfect (about 25 degrees Celsius, when outside were 40 degrees). Since we were the only ones in our restaurant, we didn't have to wait long for the staff or order. The food was good and prepared for our indications. A bit expensive, but it was good.
