Al Ritrovo - PIAZZA ARMERINA

Language barrier always makes things difficult but lady on reception was very pleasant and helpful. Google translate helps! The dogs didn't need a translator, they don't care you are from, so long as you tickle their tum. Free parking and a pizzeria right next door, which was very popular with the locals. Avoiding pizza we had some big meat platter, only 15 euros.

We stayed one night after visiting Piazza Armerina and the Villa del Casale. The hotel is just outside Piazza Armerina, and the town center is reachable in a few minutes by car. Friendly and helpful staff, easy parking. We stayed in room 104, a comfortable suite, clean and full of light. During our February visit, the outside temperature was between 4 and 15 and the room was perfectly heated. Delicious breakfast, continental with a variety of choices. Fresh, flaky croissants and Sicilian pastries. Oat, soy, almond and cow milk available for our cappuccinos, served by a friendly lady. Overall very clean and comfortable with nice attention to detail.

Not a very good experience unfortunately. Staff were not attentive to what we told them, staff serving without uniform this came later. Conversations between staff as if there was no one else in the restaurant. Food left much to be desired. I was supposed to have a 300g Angus chop. More than half of it was fat and not even the grilled veg condiment was right! Would not go there again for sure.

We were stopped only for lunch . We have a good lunch . Good grill meat for who like to eat meat and local foods . Good service .
