Shawarma Royale - Pickering

Went to pick up my chicken family platter yesterday and fell down immediately after entering through the door. Two kind men who were also customers came to help me up and offered me water and a seat. After gathering my stuff which fell on the floor, I went to the cashier to pick up my order. Told him his floors are slippery and there 's a trip at the entrance which is dangerous and which resulted in my fall. They just said really, you fell down? just now? and went on the explain that the extra step under the entrance is to keep the rats out. Didn 't seem remorseful at all. I paid for my order and drove back. Still in pain today. Needless to say I 'm never going there again. Also my hubby is so mad he wants to sue.

We ordered falafel wrap, and lamb+beef wrap around two weeks ago and loved the food. So we ordered again and it was absolutely unplayable. The meat was no fully cooked, and falafel wraps were totally bland.Very inconsistent.

Ordered chicken shawarmas, they fired up the spit and as they were cutting the chicken some fell on the bottom of the pan. Instead of cooking it properly on the grill, they put it directly on the wrap. My kids and I ate it. My kids had diarrhea and I had full blown food poisoning.I should have said something but I didn’t. But then again it’s not my place to comment on their cooking method. I’m still recovering.

Great place! The owner is very nice and treats you as family. This is hard to come by these days.The food is great! I don’t have any complaints!
