Fresh Donut - Pickerington

I ordered a dozen donuts from this restaurant on the first day and only managed to try half of one. The next day, when I woke up hoping to enjoy another donut, I discovered that locusts had come through and eaten every single one. When I asked my husband and son if they had witnessed anything, they insisted that the donuts were delicious.

Donuts are soft, fluffy, FRESH, and the best tasting around. Cinnamon twists are my favorite, but the cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, and donut holes are just as delicious and amazing. No donuts compare to how melty and sweet these donuts are.

Floored by the price and value of the breakfast wraps. Went first time today, doughnuts soft, fluffy, delicious. Was expecting that based on the reviews. Best glazed doughnut I've ever had. The free doughnuts holes a nice touch. But the wraps- just over $2, full of egg, a thick piece of bacon and cheese- and she heats it for you so you can eat warm right away. Same with sausage kolache- fantastic. Found my new fav cheap eats breakfast place. Was not sure about selection left at noon on a Thurs but it was a good spread. She said they come in about 1am and bake all night and put everything out at 6am. On weekends, 6am and also 9am. Kind helpful service. We will be back!

This spot in Pickerington has great pastries. I don't have to go across town to the famous bakery on Livingston. Because Fresh Donuts are just has good. You won't find cakes or cookies, though. They do have some breakfast foods to choose from. Closed on Mondays.

The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a definite mom and pop vibe. The donuts were tasty but a bit expensive at $20 for a dozen. The coffee was too weak for my liking. I wish there had been a place to set my donuts while I prepared my coffee - a small inconvenience but worth considering for future design improvements. The restaurant could also benefit from a thorough cleaning, as I was too disgusted by the cleanliness to fully enjoy my meal.
