Visited Miller House late on a sunny afternoon. Enjoyed charcuterie, arugula and prosciutto flatbread, drinks and a breathtaking view.

A spectacular view above the Adolphus Reach and a curious geographical feature of Lake on the Mountain. Great addition for a day trip to Prince Edward County

My husband and I visited twice just for late afternoon/evening drinks and dessert. Very busy on weekend evenings if the weather is good. Open 11 a.m. to sunset. The view is far better value than the choice of food. Focus is on shareable chaucauterie boards (not into that as I'm a picky eater) but having drinks and dessert was great. The creme brulee cake and the carrot cake were delicious.

The address says Picton, but this gem is actually up the road a bit next to Lake on the Mountain. Set across the road from said lake, it provides a breathtaking, cliff's-edge panorama enlivened by the ferry service shuttling across the bay below. Try to arrive early to have the best chance of snagging a table with the best view. You might think the food quality would be secondary to the view, but you would be mistaken. Locally sourced delicacies and wines put this place at the summit of the area, in both senses!
