We visited Petron's Limay refinery in Bataan from Manila and stopped at this restaurant in Pilar for lunch on the way back. It seems to be the best option in the area, located at a crossroad near Mount Samat National Shrine. The interior is made of unpolished wood and the owner seems to be a sports enthusiast, known for participating in biking marathons. The restaurant was popular and busy, with a selection of cooked food on display for ordering. The serving sizes were generous and we ordered lechon, rice, vegetables, and care care with refreshing Buko juice. The restaurant is air-conditioned with clean restrooms, making it a convenient stop on the way to Mount Samat where snack options are limited. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal on the go.
Ima's Pamangan offers a variety of delicious dishes on their menu. I particularly enjoyed the tofu salad, which was a new and tasty experience for me. Upon arrival, I noticed a staff member grilling pork belly and chicken, which looked and smelled amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with a relaxing atmosphere that reminded me of Sagada. Overall, I had a great dining experience at Ima's Pamangan.
